VIVITROL

We offer the VIVITROL injection to our patients as an additional service. Administered during the rapid detox procedure, VIVITROL blocks the effects of opiates for 30 days and guarantees abstinence for this time period. This is the first and only non-addictive medication designed to prevent relapse following detox.

VIVITROL works by blocking opioid receptors in the brain as an antagonist. In the brain, antagonists attach to opioid receptors without causing the release of dopamine. This creates a barrier that blocks opioid molecules from attaching to the receptors. As a result, patients are able to avoid relapse without use of a medication that results in addiction or dependency.

Since opiate addiction can have far-reaching psychological and physical effects, the manufacturers of VIVITROL have worked to provide the medication component for an effective treatment program. For best results, VIVITROL is meant to be used in conjunction with counseling or other drug recovery programs. When used as recommended, the combination of medication and counseling has been proven to help prevent relapse to opiate dependence following detox.

Patients who have taken VIVITROL report finding that the medication helps them to continue moving forward in their recovery.

Before taking VIVITROL, you must have gone through drug detox. It is critically important that you do not take opiates while using VIVITROL due to the increased risk of overdose.

As an added benefit, we prescribe the oral form of this medication for continued results in patients who are consistent and compliant with taking the prescription as directed.

    IV INFUSION TRANSFER

Offered exclusively at our center, IV vitamin infusion (INFUVITE) helps to replenish vitamins and nutrients that have been depleted as a result of prolonged substance abuse. Drug-induced deficiency, a common problem for those struggling with addiction, can have critical effects on the gastrointestinal tract and liver. Unfortunately, there is no shortage of vitamins and minerals that are depleted in the system due to drug abuse.

Patients who receive INFUVITE are able to experience a faster recovery and improved health in less than one day due to its ability to replenish and restore neglected systems.

INFUVITE targets deficiencies including iron, folic acid, vitamin B1, vitamin B12, vitamin K, and biotin. Many patients also report seeing positive changes in their hair and nails following the fusion. Additionally, INFUVITE can help to normalize the formation of red blood cells, provide building blocks for enzymes, and lower blood cholesterol. The infusion contains no preservatives.

INFUVITE has been trusted by medical professionals for over a decade, and there is no quicker and more complete way to utilize vitamins and minerals to resolve deficiencies following drug addiction. In fact, it is an effective way to make sure that you are as healthy as possible when starting the road to recovery following your rapid detox.
